According to of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia 76ers are “expected to re-sign” one-time NBA All-Star to a five-year, $205 million extension. Maxey is set to hit restricted free agency this summer, meaning it is incredibly unlikely the guard will join another team in the offseason.

Maxey is coming off a career year. In his fourth season, the 23-year-old averaged a career-high 25.9 points per game. Furthermore, he averaged 3.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game, both career-highs as well. In addition to his first All-Star selection during the season, Maxey took home the Most Improved Player and NBA Sportsmanship Award honors.
